How to Apply Gel Polish

1. Prep Your Nails: Trim, file, and buff your nails. Push back cuticles and remove shine from the natural nail, especially around the cuticles and edges. Clean nails thoroughly with a brush.
2. Base Coat: Apply a thin layer of base coat and cure under a UV/LED lamp for 60-90 seconds.
3. Color Gel Application:
   • Apply the first thin layer of Spinel Tap gel polish and cure for 60 seconds.
   • Apply a second thin layer and cure for 60 seconds.
   • For added depth, apply a third layer if needed, curing for 60 seconds.
4. Top Coat: Finish with a thin layer of top coat and cure for 90-120 seconds.

Tips for a Flawless Finish

• Apply thin coats for each layer to prevent shrinking and peeling.
• Always cap the nail edge to avoid chipping.

Troubleshooting

• Chipping or Peeling?
  Ensure nails are completely dry, clean, and oil-free. Avoid getting gel on the skin or cuticles, and always cap the nail edge.

• Gel Not Drying?
  Check your lamp settings. UV lamps require 120 seconds, while LED lamps need 60 seconds.

How to Remove Gel Polish

1. Buff the shiny top layer off your nails.
2. Soak cotton balls or pads with nail gel remover and apply to nails.
3. Wrap nails in foil or use wraps to secure the remover and let soak for at least 15 minutes.
4. Gently push off the gel with a removal wand.
5. If necessary, re-soak nails for another 5 minutes.
6. Lightly buff nails to smooth them out after all the gel is removed.
